It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Tower (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tower and Eva Tower (Landry); his wife Wilma Steward; his sisters, Joan Pellerin and Helen Chambers; and his stepson Kenny Steward.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Meehan (Darlene) of Poplar Grove, NS, Donnie and Cheryl Barnes (Brad) of Victoria, BC; his stepson Marty Steward of Vancouver, BC; his brother Fred Tower (Betty Ann) of Amherst, NS; his brothers-in-law, Henry Jr. Pellerin of Amherst, NS and Charlie Chambers of Springhill, NS; and his close friend Vola Gilbert of Amherst, NS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

In Lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Bucky's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
