It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Joseph Bourgeois in Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Bourgeois and Claudina Bourgeois; his daughter Kathy; his grandson Wallace; his niece Theresa; his sister Dorothy Bourgeois; and his siblings-in-law, Palm Cormier and Laurence Cormier.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Ward; his children, Joanne (Doug) and Dale (Mary-Ann); and his sister Arlene Hachey (Gerry). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
