It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Shaw Chapman of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Chapman and Louise Chapman (Shaw); his grandson Cory Chapman; and his brothers, Vaughn and George.

He is survived by: his daughters, Charlene Chapman (Richard Roggeveen) of Miramichi, NB and Carla Chapman (Jeff Farrer) of Sackville, NB; his close friend Sheila of Sackville, NB; his granddaughter Ashley Mason (Aaron) of Chester; his great grandchildren, Avery, Hazen, Fletcher and Mitchell; and his sister Charlotte Mason of Truro, NS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
