Vera Furlong Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Furlong (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Little River, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 21, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas S. Thompson and Florence E Thompson; her husband Douglas R Furlong; and her sisters, Jennie Storey, Bertha Thom, Elaine Lynch, Hilda Hollis, Winnifred McDonald and Irma Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Kencil Furlong of Calgary, Grace Warnica (Gary) of Halifax, Faye Jones (Dereck) of Toronto and Sheldon (Joyce) of Lower Shinimicas; and her siblings, Betty Wood of Oxford, N. S., Kencil Thompson and Norman Thompson. She is also survived by ten Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation or funeral service.
