He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Chapman and Louise Chapman (Shaw); his former wife Joan Marjorie Chapman (Noiles); and his son Delbert. He is survived by: his wife Helen Chapman (Hicks); his children, Jocelyn Melanson (Barry), Vicky Chapman, Rhonda Perry (Alan), Vaughan James (Cathy) and Hastings; his stepchildren, Shirley Hicks and Wanita Shay; and his siblings, George of Amherst, Vernon of Amherst and Charlotte Mason. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Vaughan's memory can be made to the Cancer Assistance Funds or a charity of your choice.
