She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur H. Brown and Pearl E. Brown (Gibson); her husband Carl Merlin; her sons, Paul Merlin and Charles "Chuck" Merlin; and her siblings, Horace G. Brown, Winfield H. Brown and Olwyn Kier.
She is survived by: her son Peter Merlin (Dolly); her grandchildren, Holly, Angela, Kent, Forest, Anna, Jason, Julian, Eyzlyn and Tim; her great grandchildren, Quinten, Olivia, Sarah, Conner, Jordan, Ethan, Chase, Mitchel, Danielle, Taylor, MacKenzie, Josh, Kristen, Deon, Cassie and Hayleigh; her great great grandchildren, Ava, Drew, Ezra and Maila; and her daughter-in-law Gloria Merlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
