Russell Black Trueman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Black Trueman (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Trueman and Oressa Trueman (Black); his wife Hilda (Fage); his son Gordon; and his sister Louise Trueman.

He is survived by: his children, Beverley Smith (Stewart) of Truemanville, Bruce (Evelyn) of Warren, Roger (Wendy) of Calgary, AB, Dean and Dana (Shawn) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Geoffrey (Karen), Michael, Colin (Trisha), Mitchell, Patrick and Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Ava, Olivia, Owen, Shannon, Chelsey and Colson.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations in Russell's memory can be made to the Cumberland Hospice Society or the Truemanville Cemetery.
