We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025, at the age of 81, Ruben Vincent Perry of Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry and Mary Ellen Perry (Rector); his wife Leah (Banks); his granddaughter Kayla; and his siblings, Joan Perry, Sheila Ann Perry, Katherine Hepting, Edith Crossman, Winnie Shiers (Gwen), Seatta Sweezey, Audrey Pensent, Doris Mckay, Vina Deveau, John and Keith.
He is survived by: his significant other Marjorie Rushton; his sons, Robert (Patricia), Ronnie and Paul; his stepchildren, Norman Rushton (Niska), Alvin Rushton, Trueman Rushton and Sylvia Scott (Gregory); his grandchildren, Jerrica, Chad and Hayley; his stepgrandchildren, Shae, Brynn, Hope, Ashton and Amber; and his siblings, Mary Davis, Pat Burrell, Christine Mitton, Amos and Roger.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
