He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde MacLean and Kathleen MacLean (Atkinson); and his former wife Marilyn VanSnick. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Krista Leigh Nixon (Peter) of Amherst and Richard MacLean (Joy) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Marilyn, Hannah, Mitchell and Max; and his sister Mary Lee Fry (Craig) of Bedford, NS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
