He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Budd and Ethel Budd (MacDonald); his wife Barbara Budd (Sterling); his son Jamie Budd; and his siblings, Donald Budd, Patricia Harrison and Carol Parsons.

He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer of Parrsboro; his children, Robert Budd (Shirley) of Amherst and Dorothy Budd of Amherst; his grandchildren, Michael Budd of Amherst, Avery Grassing of Amherst, Destin Steward (Emily) of Amherst, Brandon Budd, Claxton of Ontario, Kayden Legere of Amherst and Archie McCulley of Parrsboro; and his brothers, Bill and Terry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
