He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Rhindress (Gogan). He is survived by: his father James Rhindress; his spouse Samuel Richard of Riverview, NB; his children, Megan Rhindress of Amherst and Justin Rhindress of Amherst; his sister Susie Hicks-Gordon (Jon); his niece Taylor; his nephew Devin; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Memorial contributions in Ricky's memory can be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada, the Tree of Hope CHU Dumont Foundation or to the family in assisting with funeral arrangements.
