It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Barry Freeman Stevens (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 14, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Stevens and Marilyn Stevens (Berry); his daughter Amber Stevens; and his brothers, Ronald and Michael.

He is survived by: his close friend Rhonda Lamb of Amherst; his children, Amy Dempsey (Chuck) of Maccan, Marley Stevens of Amherst, Scott Stevens (Kelsey) of Amherst, Nicholas Lamb of Amherst and Alexander Lamb of Amherst; his sister Stephanie Stevens (Nick); and his grandchildren, Jordan, Kolbi, Kooper, Jackson and Allie.

Donations may be made in Rickey's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetic Association.
