It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Willis Gogan (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gogan and Mary Gogan (McManaman); his son David; and his siblings, Robert, Margaret Robichaud, Dorothy Gogan, Shirley Hubbard and Beverley Atkinson (Bunny).
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gogan of Amherst, Jimmy (Anna) of Montreal, Danny of Halifax, Robbie (Donna) of Amherst, Tim of Lorneville, Matthew of Boston, Ronnie (Raelene) of East Amherst, Stephen of Calgary and Donna Smith; his sisters, Norma Maxwell of Sackville and Bette Douglas of Amherst; his significant other Carolyn Thompson; and his significant other's sons, Andrew and Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his friends.
