He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Surette and Madeline Surette (Doucette); and his siblings, Martin, Alex, George, Donald and Greta Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jean (Currie); his children, Debra (Victor), Blair (Sandy) of Saint John, NB and Terry of Saint John, NB; his grandchildren, Andrew, Travis, Saint John, Brandon (Sarah), Grant and Melissa of Alberta; his great grandchildren, Anakin, Josie and Evelyn; his nieces, Catherine Middleton and Susan Brown; and his sister-in-law Patricia LeBlanc (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
