It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reverend Richard James Hartnett (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 3, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard, Doreen, Helen and Patrick. He is survived by: his children, Rick (Bev), Fort McMurray, Denise Hartnett (Rob Keith) and Amherst; his grandchildren, Beth, Jennifer (Josh), David, Stephen and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Loman, Maisie and Barrett.
Burial to follow in the parish cemetery Donations in his memory can be made to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, his life's passion; or the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Holy Family Parish.
