He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gallant and Etta Gallant (Benjamin); his children, Jeffery and Suzanne Rae Gallant; his sister Theresa; and also Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Amherst, NS; his daughter Laura Rae (Don) of Fall River, NS; his grandchildren, Meagan (Ryan Renshaw), Emma, Evan (Emma W.) and Brittanie McKenzie (Matt); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Thomas, Jax, Jaxon and Lydia; his sister-in-law Linda Arseneau (Gilbert) of Riverview, NB; and his nieces and nephews, Tammy, Shawn, Billy and Cindy Gallagher.
Donations in memory of Ray may be made to the LA Animal Shelter.
