We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis Jean Burke of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carr and Doris Carr (McAloney); her husband Robert; her daughter Elaine Burke-Gauvin; and her siblings, Irene McCully, Betty Collinson and Charles Carr.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Sparks (Doug) of Amherst, Robert (Susan) of Amherst and Barry (Cindy) of Tidnish; her grandchildren, Deanna (Jamie), Christopher (Julie), Amelia, Brittany (Alex) and Hayley; her great grandchildren, Madelaine, Audrey, Cheyenne and Regan; her sister Mildred Carr-Shrum; her sister-in-law Patsy Hacking; and her niece Sandra Dunphy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
