With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Sawatzky (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 20, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Peter Sawatzky; his wife Lucy; and his siblings, Sarah, Tina, Susie, Ann, Helen, Margaret, Mary, Dora and John.
He is survived by: his parent Susan Sawatzky (Voth); his daughters, Lisa Quinn (Carl), Elizabeth "Beth" Sawatzky, Vanessa Sawatzky and River Hebert; his grandchildren, Steven Quinn of Southampton and Marina Gilbert (Joseph) of Springhill; and his great grandchild Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
