She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bristol and Mary Bristol (Meade); and her siblings, Connie Noiles, Archie, Tommy, Ray, Lawrence, Jack and Billy.

She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Dean Smith (Kim) and Shelley Smith; her grandchildren, Desiree, Haley and Ryan; her great grandchild Kayden; and her siblings, Norma Bristol and Gordon Bristol of Mahone Bay, NS. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
