She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Murray and Dagny Murray (Johannesen); her husband Donald; her daughter-in-law Shelley Ripley (Rushton); her grandchildren, Sherri-Anne Thwaites and Ian Thwaites; and her sisters, Enid, Ellen and Jeanne.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara of Rycroft, AB, Peter (Faye) and Gregory; her grandchildren, Tristan, Alyssa and Jason; and her close friends, Vi Hutchinson and Brandi Canning. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
