Pam Harrison Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Pam Harrison (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away, on January 7, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Barkhouse and Doris Barkhouse (Robson); her siblings, Myrna Matheson (Gordon) of Brookfield, NS and Tyler Barkhouse (Michelle); her children, Dean (Lynn), Angie (Darrell) and Kent (Lynda); her grandchildren, Alex (Christina), Ben, Mitchell, Chloe, Madison and Sam; her nieces and nephews, Pam, Heath, Isaac, Seth and Madeline Claire; and her great-nieces, Katya, Talia and Gertie.

She made so many dear friends there, and she was so sad to not be making plans to return due to Covid-19.

In lieu of flowers, in true Pammie style, she would like you to perform a random act of kindness, and a smile to remember all of her kindness.

Words of sympathy

Sherry Bennett wrote a sympathy message

“Dean, Lynn and family, I was sad to hear of Pam's death and I am so sorry for your loss. I read about her being in Portugal last spring awaiting clearance to return to Canada in the midst of co-vid 19. I thought what a lovely lifestyle, why am I not doing that? But I think your Mom was a 'doer' and because she was, she lived life to the fullest. There is a profound lesson for all of us in a life well lived. I thank her for that moment of reflection on my own life. Sincerely Sherry Bennett”
