We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2019, at the age of 81, Nordby A. Mattatall (Amherst, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mattatall and Freda Mattatall (McLellan); his wife Janet F. Mattatall (Baxter); his sister Lorna; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Gaudet.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Mattatall (Wendy Brown) of Amherst, Jill Yorke (Steve) of Amherst, Sandy Boucher (Bob) of Amherst and Michelle Chitty (Dave) of Amherst; his sister Claudia Hurley (Irvin); the mother of his children Barbara Estabrooks; his grandson Jason Mattatall (Amy); his great grandchildren, Kailee, Chelsea, Halle and Keela; his grandchildren, Alisha Chung (Tyler) and Justin Mattatall (Katy); his great grandchildren, Nash and Leo; his grandson Joel Mattatall (Veronique); his great grandchild Eli; his grandchildren, Mitchell Scott (Leah Jones) and Kristina McEachern (Brad Chapman); his great grandchildren, Emma and Nick Chapman; his grandson Joseph McEachern (Carol-Ann); his great grandchildren, Mattalyn and Tanner; his grandsons, Matthew Yorke (Angele Allain) and Ryan Boucher (Tiffany); his great grandchild Asher; his grandchild Shel Hsieh (John); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Winston, Allison Gagnon (Bradley Hopper) and Alexander Gagnon (Shawn Boyle); his niece Anne Goodwin (Gordon); his great-nieces, Jessica and Melissa Rickard (John); and also, Hayden, Callie and Alexis.
