She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Mary Smith (Cope); her daughters, Sharon Deegan and Katherine Chapman; her siblings, Bud Smith, Joyce Fyfe and Zella Rector; and her nephew Brian Smith.

She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, Stephen (Tammy) and Michael Roberts; her son-in-law David Deegan; her grandchildren, Amanda Deegan (Jake Kaiser), David Deegan (Rachelle), Vanessa Chapman (Dylan Hicks), Carl Amos (Candace Legere) and Angel Tower; her great grandchildren, Easton, Ryleigh, Justin, Emery, Charlie, Dallas and Hunter; her siblings, Bill Smith (Charlotte), Claydon Smith (Carolyn) and Shirley Fullerton; and her nieces, Sherry and Shelly Smith. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 14, Ladies Aux.
