Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Melcora Brown (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Northport, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 21, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gideon Allen and Loretta; her husband Willard; her sister Beulah Shaw; and her children-in-law, Susie Brown and Michael DeMusz.
She is survived by: her children, James of Medina, Ohio, Norman of Nappan, N. S., Leslie (Diana) of Musquodobit Harbour, N. S., Gordon of Montreal Que, Joyce Doucett (Marcel) of Moncton, N. B. and Laura DeMusz of Cape May; and her siblings, Henderson Allen (Joyce), Gordon Blair (Helen), Stewart Blair (Eileen), Grace Huntley and Alice Morrison. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Melcora's memory to the Trinity St. Stephen's United Church or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
