It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Smith (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie Smith to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Marjorie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marjorie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; and her son Wayne. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy (Ted); her brother Ralph (Debbie) of Saint John, N. B; her niece April; her great-niece Tammy; and her friend Tim. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Fenwick Cemetery.
A donation to the Cumberland County Hospice/Palliative Care Society would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
