It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Patricia White of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Melanson and Mary Melanson (Dow); her husband Elbert White; her grandchild Kyle White; her siblings, Leon Melanson, Ernie Melanson, Anne Kent (John) and Marion Locy (Oscar); and her brothers-in-law, George Ayer, Hal Ramsay and Jim Coade.
She is survived by: her children, Karen White (Kevin Moore), Barry (Amy), Timothy, David (Twyla) and Linda Cole (Kevin); her grandchildren, Allie, Ryan, Courteney (Jamie), Kaylee, Kelsi, Samantha (Kelly) and Thomas; her siblings, Ada Ramsay, Kathy Estabrooks (Joseph Jr), Evelyn Ayer, Malcolm "Mac" Melanson (Rose) and Dave Melanson; and her siblings-in-law, Glen White (Anita) and Dureen Coade. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
