Margaret Jean Cassolato Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jean Cassolato of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Hastings and Vesta Hastings (Hicks); her husband Candido "Joe" Cassolato; her siblings, Donald Hastings, William Hastings, Ethel Leslie and Nora Hastings; her nephews, Wayne Leslie, Rob Miller, Bruce Miller and John Charles Miller; and her niece Kathleen Miller.

She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Miller of Hamilton, ON and Freda McConomy; and her nieces and nephews, Marsha McManaman, Anne May, Dawn Keizer, Karen Campbell, Ellen McConomy, Susan Maynard, Jan Porter, Doug Hastings and Richard Hastings.

Margaret arrived during the last global Pandemic, and left during this one.
