He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Irvine; his son David; his siblings, Stanley, Gerald, Clifford, Arthur and Ida; and his sisters-in-law, Katherine Harper and Glenna Allison (Edison).
He is survived by: his parent Almeada Hawkes (Vail); his wife Lorraine (Harper); his children, Rachel Tupper (Alex) of Ottawa, Paul (Sherri) of Collingwood, Naomi Ferdinand (Bob) of Amherst, Andrew (Sarah), Stephen (Deanna), Rebecca White (Scott) of Kennetcook, NS, Esther, Justin, Taylor, Micah, Katie, Josie, Hannah, Joel, Luke, Owen, Dawson, Landon, Brianna and Olivia; his sister Elsie Vail; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Harper (Becky), Blair Harper (Doris) and James Marshall Harper; and also Joyce Hawkes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
