Leonard Lorraine Lowther Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Lorraine Lowther of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowther and Permilla Lowther (Thomas); his wife Avis; and his siblings, Robert, Herbert, Lloyd, Dorothy, Arminta and Vivian.
He is survived by: his son Lyman of Sept Iles, QC; his granddaughters, Sara Jane D'Amours-Lowther (Robert Bursey) of Sept-Iles, QC and Karyn D'Amours-Lowthers of Sept-Iles, QC; his great grandchildren, William Bursey, Jasmine Bursey and Sean Hudon; and his sister Beatrice Hawkes (Doug) of Amherst Head. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to Resident Council of Gables Lodge or Tidnish Crossroads Community Association.
