He was predeceased by: his sister Lisa; his niece Tara; and his aunt Kathy. He is survived by: his close friend Sarah Almeida; his parents, Weldon Dobson of Chignecto and Patricia Mills of Lower Maccan; his grandparents, Ron, Eva Dobson of Amherst, David and Marjorie Mills of Joggins; and his siblings, Sarah Dobson, Jamie Dobson, Chad Dobson, Isaac Manzer, Brandon Dwyer and Klace Mitchell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in Leigh's memory to the IWK Children's Hospital.
