He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Shinny" Shannon and Nellie Shannon (Gouchie). He is survived by: his wife Doris (MacKenzie); his children, Sandi Doiron (Paul), Grand Barachois, Betty Ann Moore (John), Linden, Nancy Perry (Brian) and Pat (Becky); and his sisters, Joyce Everill of Amherst and Marlene Gould of Amherst. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
