It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Launa Roberta Dickie (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in River Philip, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Matheson and Rachel Matheson (Power); her husband Thomas; her children, Owen, Bob, Russ and Linda; her son-in-law Mike; and her siblings, Malcolm, Ray, Cliff, Thelma, Orisy, Muriel, Leona and Freda.
She is survived by: her children, Marg, Milly (Don), Tom (Peg), Wendy (Derrick) and Dora (Rob); her daughter-in-law Chris; and her sister Ione. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren.
Donations in Launa's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
