He is survived by: his parent Reta Spence (Penney); his wife Emma "Elaine" Nutting; his daughter Sheila Spence of Oshawa; and his siblings, Donald, Truro, John, Smith Falls, Brian, David, Bowmanville, Larry, Betty of Ontario, Beverly Dale (John), Fenwick, Carol Farrell (Robert), Springhill, Lois Davison (Charles) and Jocelyn Horton (Al). He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
