He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Canton and Edith Canton (Barkhouse). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Rhonda Jackson (Rob Doiron) of Amherst, Barbara Purdy (Nelson) of Moncton, Donna Scott (David) of Amherst and Mark Canton (Shawn) of Parrsboro; his grandchildren, Mark, Brock, Nicholas Jackson, Owen Canton, Sam, Will Legere, Connor and Olivia Scott; his great grandchildren, Henry, William, Gray, Lillian and June; and his sister Faye Glenen of New Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
