It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine H. Beed (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Sertich (Tichak) and Stephen Sertich; her husband Reginald; and her sons, Jeffrey (Bernice) of Moncton and Scott (Sherri) of Amherst.

Due to pandemic restrictions, a private family visitation and celebration of life will take place on Monday, November 30, 2020 from Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst (902) 667-9906.

Memorial contributions in Mum's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
