With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William King Coleman of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Millicent Coleman (King); his parents-in-law, Pearl and Leon Porter; and his siblings-in-law, Billy and Barbara.

He is survived by: his father David Coleman; his wife Janice (Porter); his children, Laura Ashley Farrow (Phillip), Alexa Gaudet (Simon) and Joshua Coleman (Leslie); his grandchildren, Adelynn and John Peter; and his siblings, Dale Jones (Brian), David (Ann), Dawn (Al MacIssac), Scott (Nancy) and Porter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, proof of double vaccination and government ID is required for the visitations.

Donations may be made in John's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Society.
