It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Louise Estabrooks of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Perkins and Sarah Perkins (Flemming); her son Adam; and her siblings-in-law, Eddy Kennedy, Gordon Estabrooks and Shelley Estabrooks.

She is survived by: her husband Kenny; her son Joe (Marie); her grandchildren, Sara, Hannah, Katrin and Alex; her siblings, Mary Kennedy, Anne McKillop (Doug), Barbara March (Kevin) and Paul Perkins (Tammy); her aunt Alice Milner (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Barb Estabrooks, Edith Black (Phil Henderson), Anne Simpson (Percy), David Estabrooks and Eddy Estabrooks.

She will be privately laid to rest at a later date in the St. Charles- Nativity Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 provincial guidelines, masks must be worn and everyone 12 and older will be required to show proof of double vaccination as well as government ID.
