James Brooks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Brooks (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Lindsay, Ontario, who passed away on September 21, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brooks and Vera Brooks (Badgeley); his brothers, John, Wally, Paul and Fred; his siblings-in-law, David Melanson and Rose Melanson; and his father-in-law Eugene.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son James "Jimbo" (Lee) of Sarnia, ON; his sisters, Barb Hand of Flordia and Linda Ross (Rick) of Corunna, ON; his brothers-in-law, Garnet Melanson (Lorna) of Amherst, Lonnie Melanson (Pearl) of Amherst, Rick Melanson (Lorna) of Maccan, NS and Timmy Melanson; and his mother-in-law Beatrice Melanson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
