Isabel Diana Boodoosingh Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isabel Diana Boodoosingh of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward MacPhee and Pauline MacPhee (Bushell); her husband Dr. Ram Boodoosingh; and her sister Lorna. She is survived by: her sons, Facetime, Taran (Veronica) of Brooklin, ON, Adri (Heather) of Belleville, ON and Devin (Julie) of Sackville, NB; her grandchildren, Carson, Declan and Peyton Boodoosingh; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Pardy (Marilena) and Kelsey Pardy (Brad McGarr); her stepgreat-grandson Liam Pardy; her siblings, Jean Doane (Chalmers) of Maitland, NS, Nancy MacPhee (Gie Rodgers) of Charlottetown, PE and Ian MacPhee of Halifax; and her pet Rudy. She is also survived by sisters-in-law in Trinidad; several nieces and nephews.

Due to current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, a celebration of Diana's life will be held at a later date when gatherings and travel are possible.

Donations in Diana's memory may be made to the MS Society of Canada, Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church, or a charity of choice.
