It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Fred O'Brien (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien (Cormier); his son Ricky O'Brien (Roxanne) of Amherst; his grandson Bradley O'Brien (Ashley) of Amherst; his great grandchildren, Sydney and Salem; and his brother Raymond (Iona). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
