George Hanley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2022, at the age of 85, George Hanley of Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Hanley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hanley and Greta Hanley (McLaughlin); his siblings, Marjorie Flann and Bud Hanley; and his granddaughter Georgia.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Hanley (Dupuis); his children, Joseph (Andrea) of Nanaimo, BC, Todd (Sheila) of Calgary, AB, Rob (Stephanie) of Piercemont, NB, Lynn (Robert) of Edmonton, AB and Lisa (Scott) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Liam, Brianna, Amanda, Jeremy, Dylan, Alex, Zack, Olivia, Nate, Riley, Braden, Chaundelle and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Creedance, Colton, Jiya, Macie, Daniel and Weston; his brother Fred Hanley (Marilyn) of Moncton, NB; and his brother-in-law Wayne (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Bob's memory to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, NS Burn Treatment Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
