It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Richard Tingley of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Tingley and Phyllis Tingley (Carter); his sisters, Joyce and Linda; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Estabrooks and James Innes.

He is survived by: his wife Shelley (Collins); his stepdaughter Amanda Shay (James); his stepgrandchildren, Austin Hatfield, Kayla Hatfield and Jordan Hatfield; and his siblings, Gwen Estabrooks, Charlotte Goodwin (Arthur), Roger Tingley (Phyllis), Lewis Tingley (Gill), Diane Tingley, Faye Innes and Brenda Tingley (John Harper). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
