He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jackson and Minnie Jackson (Tabor); his siblings, Bill, David, Grant Jackson and Gail Jackson; his daughter Cindy; and his stepgrandson Christopher Baxter.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Bonnie MacKay of Amherst; his son Sean of Amherst; his stepchildren, Tammy Baxter (Peter), Grace Jarvis (Dave) and Dan Walker of Amherst; his grandson Cole of Amherst; and his stepgrandchildren, Natasha and Jordan Jarvis (Danielle) of Halifax. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
