It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda L. Gallagher of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius DesBarres and Lillian DesBarres (LeBLanc); her children, Terry "Moosie" Lorette and Terri Gallagher; and her brother Clarence DesBarres.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Troy (Mandy), Gary Lorette (Kathie), Cindy Reid (Junior) and Bill (Pirette); her daughter-in-law Doris Lorette; her sister-in-law Willow DesBarres; and her sisters, Cece Berube (Henry), Old and Marion McCourt (Bill) of Toronto, ON. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Freda's memory can be made to the Holy Family Parish, Cumberland VON as well as the Cumberland Regional Health Care Palliative Care Unit.
