Fred Winston Black Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Winston Black of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Black and Esther Black (Mayne); his wife Gladys (Dykeman); his brother David; and his brother-in-law Dannie Hood.

He is survived by: his daughter Elaine Black; his siblings, Elbert "Lee" (Maureen) of Georgetown, ON, Barbara Hood and Carol Zwicker (Brian) of Edmonton, AB; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Dykeman (Gabe Gibson) of Fredericton, NB, Cheryl Dykeman of Jemseg, NB, Clinton Dykeman (Margaret) of Victoria, BC and Kenneth Underhill of Quispansis, NB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
