She was predeceased by: her parent Hibbert MacDonald; her son Phillip; her brother Willard Chapman; her sister-in-law Jennie W. Chapman; her sister Jenetta Chappell; her brother-in-law Ronald Chappell; her nephew David Chappell; and her daughter Lenore Fletcher (Trenchard).

She is survived by: her parent Eva MacDonald (Ripley); her stepmother Marguerite Carty; her husband Allen; her nephew Doug Chapman (Ferne); her half-brother Eugene MacDonald (Betty); her daughter Sylvia Carter (Gary); and her sister-in-law Elaine Falconer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several special friends.
