Ernest Frederick Mason Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Frederick Mason of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Mason and Freda Mason (White); his wife Helen (Patton); his siblings, John Mason, Roy Fillmore, Bob Fillmore, Firth Sauveur and Marie MacGlashen; and his nephew David Mason.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bobby; his daughter Marlene Mason (Robb Morse); his stepgrandsons, James, Robert and Jason; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyler, Brycen, Easton and Cohen; his siblings, George Mason (Naureen) of Amherst and Linda Letcher (Owen) of Northport; and his close friend Cavelle Osmond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ernie's memory to the CRHCC Palliative Care and the LA Animal Shelter.
