Emile Joseph Melanson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emile Joseph Melanson of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Shemogue, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 15, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Melanson and Angeline Melanson (Gallant); his wife Dorilla; his son Emile Jr.; his siblings, Lionel Melanson and Edna LeBlanc; and his half-brother Fred Duguay.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Bangerter (Kenneth) of Freelton, ON, Shirley LeBlanc (Gregory), Debbie Lohr (Leslie), Charlene Burden (David), Monique White (Donald), Alan of Amherst, NS and Stephen (Elaine); and his sister-in-law Viola Corbett of Amherst, NS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
