Elizabeth Ross Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Ross (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Gilroy and Catherine Gilroy (Dowe); her former husband Edward; her son Robert; and her siblings, Anne, Jean, Doris, Ethel, Eleanor, Raymond, Ralph and Gordon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary, Marjorie, John, Lloyd (Pat) and Lester; her children, Donald Ross, Tim Ross (Cindy Goodwin) and Jan Mackinnon (John Lewis); her grandchildren, Lynn, Jennifer and Leslie; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Kayden, Conor, Gavin, Rylan, Abigail, Kaylee and Sydney.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
In lieu of floral tributes memorial contributions in Betty's memory can be made to Cumberland von to the Athol cemetery.
