She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isabel Buck (Jardine) and Chesley Buck of Sydney, NS.; her children, Jane Thompson (Terry), Isabel Kline (Jack) and Walter Tennant (Deborah); her sisters, Peggy McAlpine and Gracie McMurray; her grandson Jonathan Thompson (Terri) of Vancouver; her great grandchildren, Piper, Abby and Stuart; her granddaughter Sarah Thompson of South Carolina; her great grandchild Josh; her granddaughter Victoria Kline of North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Jack and Allison; her grandson Gordon Kline (Theresa) of Moncton; her husband Hugh; and her sisters, Marion and Jean. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the Cumberland Hospice and Palliative Care Society or Trinity St. Stephens United Church.
